On-Set BTS Media: Production Assistance

A late night on a Facebook Group page would result in a happy accident of Wilson Sporting Goods looking for local production assistance for their tennis and basketball content in San Francisco.

My inquiry would not receive a response until the night before the shoot. I answered immediately, built a repertoire for someone eager to learn and ready to perform a multitude of tasks between gaffing, staging, talent administration, managing call-sheets and release forms, coordinating post-set food donation drop-offs, and aiding last minute emergencies like resourcing day-of caterers and retailers for food and wardrobe.

I started as a Production Assistant with the technical crew who by the 3rd Marketing Campaign would become a full administrative and logistical asset to the Wilson’s Marketing team.

Aspiring to be a Creative Producer, I naturally leaned onto these administrative and logistical duties while using my technical skills in camera and lighting production to my advantage, making myself a crucial asset to entire productions.
